VIDEO: Teach-In: Refugee Crisis in Europe

The European Union Center was one of the co-sponsors for this Teach-In about the Refugee Crisis in Europe held on September 22, 2015. The  Refugee Crisis in Europe is still incredibly prominent in our society today.  Much has been said about the topic, and on September 22nd, a Teach-In about the Refugee Crisis was held at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  The purpose of this discussion was to present an open space containing varying people and opinions.  A brief summary of this event follows:

This panel discussion looks at the diplomatic, political, social, and humanitarian law implications of the influx of large populations of refugees into Europe. The speakers also shed light on the situation in Germany, Greece and Hungary and discuss the EU policies that address (or fail to address) the crisis.
